Fine print in the Apple email I just got.
"For non-qualified customers, including existing AT&T customers who want to upgrade from another phone or replace an iPhone 3G, the price with a new two-year agreement is $499 (8GB), $599 (16GB), or $699 (32GB)."

all the promo pictures for the new iphone don't show the at&t logo, and they took a couple digs at at&t during the keynote for not having mms ready to go, etc.
i bet they don't renew the exclusivity and go to verizon in 2010. at&t can suck it.

I'm a little disappointed (and somewhat surprised) that Apple has let AT&T continue with the same shit... I understand that AT&T was the only company to side with Apple before the iPhone came out, and that there's an exclusivity contract but still; I'd think Apple would have had more to say about those cock monkeys fucking with such a great product.
