Best part if you do party shuffle or DJ whatever its called now and you have people with iPhones with the remote app, you can all request songs.

I found AirTunes via Airport Express to be the best solution. It isolates iTunes from all other sounds computer makes and which don't need to be amplified by stereo.
If you need it for films - use Airfoil http://rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/m…

One note– even though I use it a lot, there is a short delay while the express buffers the signal. So, using apps like airfoil might mean significant lag. Also, whenever you change tracks and such. Not a big deal for most, but there are times when it's unacceptable for whatever I'm doing.
- Are you saying you get a short delay from room to room with airtunes? What if you can hear the signal from both...pylon
- ...rooms at the same time? Was just about to buy a couple AE's for home audio.pylon
- Room to room should be ok, the delay is constant on the line computer - airport expressraf
- Ah, okay that I can handle — as long as the the line is synced. A delay from the source is fine, thanks!pylon
- Yeah, should've made that clearer.ismith

It's really stupid that itunes doesn't stream the sound of any videos playing in itunes to the airport express/extreme, yah'd wonder why when it does it great for yer music.
- I wish it was built into OSX instead of iTunes. It is pretty limited as is...ismith
