I have to dynamically animate some bezier curves that have to look like this: http://www.agenceyelloh.com/ERIS…
Here: labs.inhive.com/temp/3dBezierDyn... is the archive of my approach and i'm not sure is the best one.

I mean it kind-of eats the whole processor. Does anyone know of any better way to do this ?

what you need to do is use the bitmap and bitmapdata classes to show the animation. These are much more efficient than rendering vectors every frame.
You can create a bitmap and bitmapdata instances and use your vector data to write the vectors into the bitmapdata object that is then rendered as a bitmap on stage. the curvesContainer is never placed on stage and just used to hold the vectors in memory before writing them to the bitmap
- this is about 40% more efficient on my systemmaximillion_

don't know if it's of any direct help but the caurina tweening script
http://code.google.com/p/tweener…
supports bezier curves with the _bezier property.
here's the explanation
