  Someone please fill me in on this twitter business. Yes, I've read all about it in a gazillion blogs, mags, etc etc... but...from your personal standpoint, why is it so great? Do you really have time to read what everyone is doing in one sentence? Do you make your homepage your twitter acct so you can easily check your 'tweets'? Seems like people just write crap or stuff that doesn't have any importance. I could be totally wrong. How does this help your life? What benefits does it have?

  I've created an acct just so I have a name but have yet to use it. VERY curious as to why people use it so much.
