Hey gang,
So I have spent the last few days studying HTML code like a good boy should.
I'm going to start playing around and practicing some of the basic concepts that I've learned.
I wanted to ask everyone's opinion where I should go next:
Should I start learning XHTML? or CSS?I thought I would go to the masters and ask what you guys thought would be best.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Humblely yours,
Steve

i think you should start with the design part.
- Creating the look of things has been the easier part. I need to learn the right way to get the design on the web and looking and functioning right.

Learning Dreamweaver would be your next best career move.
- That's where I have started in Dreamweaver and playing with the HTML that I was learning.hubb7designs
- Methinks you're gonna need straight code, if you're gonna learn it righta_iver

no point learning the CSS without the XHTML...
but, as has been said much more eloquently before – the best code in the world still looks like shit if the original ideas are shit. ie. you can't polish a turd.
(just in case this isn't a Uber/Lloyd thread)
- but you can roll it in glitterforcetwelve
- I say the same thing. If your designs look bad, their bad. Thanks for the advice. PS. I'm for real about asking for help. Much appreciated.hubb7designs

XHTML and CSS, sure. XHTML shouldn't take that long if you know HTML.
