image links in HTMLText

  AS2 Question:

  I'm trying to put some buttons into an HTML field so they sit amongst the rest of the text... my code is as below...

  <a href='asfunction:_root.jumpTo,imagebrowser'><img src='s_i.png' vspace='0' hspace='0'> <br><br></a>

  But the link just doesn't work? but does when it is just text, rather than the image... any ideas as to how to get around this... want to avoid having to line graphics up etc.
