Hmmm... I don't think I'll watch tomorrow night but the preview has been growing on me. I got kinda tired of it after gunning through the first two seasons (and I liked Mad Men so much more) but I'm starting to remember why I liked watching it so much at the beginning.

I don't think it's flawless but I like this show a hell of a lot.
I think it's all about morality; What would lead a person to move from one end of the spectrum to the other? How would this effect the way we perceive them? How can anyone effectively judge the actions of another? What makes difficult decisions acceptable?
In trying to answer this type of question, the story arc does seem to verge very closely towards the absurd - and parts of the show are definitely larger than life - but overall, I find it really engaging and entertaining.
The character development is great, which is the most important part of good TV imo .. Bryan Cranston is amazing. Loved him in Malcolm in the Middle, and he's just as good (if not better) in this. I think he might actually be my favourite actor. His relationship with Jesse is nuanced and quite touching at times. It's a great show.
Can't wait for series 3.

he's never going to get out of the life style. He loves it and hates himself for loving it. He's good at it and hates himself for being good at it. He's murdered, and let people die before his eyes, for money and power. And barely shows remorse for any of it. I think he's just really sick over the fact he couldn't keep it from his wife. That's the only failure he feels.

and what was the crawling in the beginning was that some sort of Mexican Voodoo ritual?good start. it'll surely get crazier as the season progresses
