I have left my company and now I am taking a client with me. I know they charged possibly 100-125 per hour and flat fee for larger projects.
Can I expect to get the same rate as an individual or are they expecting a lower rate because I don't have as many "resources"?

well you have substantially less overhead than the company, right? Cut a little back to make them happy to go with you, so long as you are still making more than you did with your company as the middle man.

the truth, they will expect a lower rate. Do what baseline said, lower it a little to avoid that conversation.

I agree with baseline_shift on this. Cutting back will make them feel they made the right choice staying with you too.

Great thank you so much guys.

Keeping it lower will create the right client relationship feel. If you charge higher, it will look like you were only in it to steal the competition's client.

but a company generally pays less for things than an individual as it's a company with many employees and not just you. you will also be paying a higher tax rate and have to pay your own insurance, etc.

lower your rate slightly to shwo your loyality to them as they have to you
