At around $40 Chuck Taylors seem really overpriced for what they are.

i have to say, i've not had chucks for over a decade, bought a pair last year and they are incredibly comfortable. haven't taken them off.

I'm a fan of any shoe that looks better the older and more worn out it gets.

I had them when I was in high school, played a few lunchtime games of basketball and absolutely destroyed them. I never wanted another pair after that.

constantly own a pair of chuckas. I'm flat footed anyway, plus I hate shoes with a heel.

I've got wide feet so I wear NB about 95% of the time. I think my mom bound my feet as a child because they're all fucked up structurally.

I always found female ice skates to be very uncomfortable. The bone on the insides of the foot (either the navicular or talus) would hurt a lot. Maybe mine sticks out more than normal.

I always have a natural white pair on the go, need to replace every 6 months, but they fit me perfectly and are timeless.I might try some of the new PF flyers archival series since they were actually very popular in the 40s/50s I love that look.
