convert & delete videos automatically as they download

  Hey guys

  Any idea if there is a way to do this on a mac:

  I have Miro downloading videos as they become available; Usually I wanna convert them into iphone format, which I do with visual hub. However I was wondering is there is any magical script thingy, that will convert the videos to mp4 as soon as they are downloaded and then delete the old file. I tried to do it in automator, but it doesn't seem to be possible.

  Any ideas?

  the one comment said is was not working for them but i'm pretty sure i got it to work in the past. so it could be user error...i think there is a more uptodate version on that site but that was a link i had.
