Just found this on a job posting - what are business rules that would need to be defined in this context
6+ years experience designing and documenting windows applications or large-scale web-based applications, involving detailed design schematics and business rules.I'm more a programmer - but always want to learn more about the industry/
the ad also spoke about having Familiarity with usability heuristics and relevant HCI literature - what are some so I can look them up.
No interest in applying just want some things to learn on saturday

Sounds high-fallutin'. Is this @ MIT or something?

I still don't know what experience design is.

A bit of a wild guess but "detailed design schematics and business rules" maybe referring to "systems analysis" (software engineering) - when you adapt a given set of business procedures (e.g. the work-flow of one given organisation) to an administrative model (input, output, features, etc). In other words, what results in a database and the GUI.
- computerised administrative model, I forgot to add.Corvo2
