Anti-glare film for glossy iMac?

Working on a new glossy iMac that has some pretty blinding reflections during certain times during the day. I can't move the thing so I'm looking for a good anti-glare film that won't screw up the displayed color or fuzz out all my type. There's photodon films but I read that they created too much distortion and color artifacting.
Any suggestions?

Maybe you should just remove the glass, like so...

Is it matte underneath if you take the glass off? I predict a market for replacement bezels, without the glass...

I read that there's more glass over the actual lcd as well, besides work's not going to let me mod the machine that much. Has anyone here used photodon film? I read that it creates color artifacts and was no good for designers.

I tried films but ended up building a surrounding fort out of large sheets of foamcore – it was known as the "creative cave" :)
