get a gocco from ebay, bit pricey but I really want one

with gocco, do only get one exposure per bulb?

the speedball kits are great for beginners.
and as you get better, you buy better screens.

yeah the bulbs can only be used once, depends on which model you have, some take 2 bulbs, some 4.

These gocco things look rad. I only wanted to dabble with cards and stuff so seems perfect. Apparently they are discontinued in Japan, is there any spare parts that you might need that would be hard to come by ?

So far I've still been able to buy Ink, bulbs and screens.

Don't buy that kit if you want to print cards, plastisol is for garment printing.

I was into screenprinting a wee bit a few years back, and had I had that option to hand then, I'd've bought it without little thought. It seems like a good starter price for what it offers.
My only concerns - it says it doesn't need bolting down - I would. You'll need to get a decent, solid table that doesn't shift around at all.
Also - the inks. Those included should be good enough for pottering around with, but getting that much bundled in is quite surprising. Ink was hella expensive - if memory serves, this is 4 years ago now.
Frames look ok - though I'd check the mesh size, and see if you can get some more of them cheaply - I'd get at least 6 to start off with.
- Oh, I've just read your 'cards and stuff' comment. Sorry, I was meaning for T-shirts. This option is probably overkill.Nairn
