Any good app that would copy a scratched video DVD ?

not the app, but you could try copying it with a slow 2x speed set or something, or try wiping it before loading, i dont think any app would make a difference

Already tried both your options. It's a rewritable minidisk from a camCorder. whenever i try to copy, it pops up a bad sector error at on of the vob files.
if i play the vob file in VLC in kinda works (if i skip the damaged part)
So that's why i thought some software could help.
Found Plato DVD copy but that's only for windows platform. I have a windows machine as well but on that machine it does not recognize my disk.

In my experience (just with normal DVDs) if you use a heavy cloth and really rub down the scratch, you can sometimes get one good read off it.

Rub on some regular, white toothpaste. Let it dry for a few minutes. Wipe it all off, and the scratches should be filled in well enough for it to be readable. When applying and removing toothpaste, remember to wipe from center to outside, and not in a circle around the disc.
