  Dancer, the only way I have found that allows you to link people is to send them a connection request and specify that you have worked together, then select one of places of work you list, and also include a note pointing out that in fct you never did work with them there, but its the only way you can add anyone. Its what I do, anyhow.

  I have to say I love Linkedin, and every designer / creative should be on it. Honestly I reckon I get 2/3 job offers, well interview offers every week through it for top agencies. It's become the recruitment tool of choice in this recession.
