curious to see if anyone has worked in this environment before? what people think of the potential? if people even know what it is?
i always assumed it was a out of browser flex thing, but in looking further, it seems it's much more and know i'm confused with where they are going with this.....

just to clarify: air makes desktop apps that are browser and OS independent.....but the apps still use the pc's processing power and storage, correct? they are not like cloud apps?

air makes flash apps run on the desktop in a sandbox. They are browser and OS independant. They can use some local storage, and access data on the web. they can use either local processing power and storage, or web-based data, and by extension, some web-based computational ability..... web services,etc
