Hi guys, just wondering whether you could help clear something up for me.
When writing for the web which is the correct writing the following terms:
Signup - or - Sign Up
Signin - or - Sign In
Login - or - Log In
Logout - or - Log Out
Website - or - Web SiteI know there are probably other instances like this, but I just wanted to know what the correct method is. There must be some kind of logic to explaining why they are written the way they are!
Thanks in advance.

Web Site- Is there any reason why it should be written like that? It's only because I've seen it written both ways! :-)
Not_Just_Another - Well, technically, they comprise two words. I can only guess lazy people out them together.funkage
- Because those are the grammatically correct ways of spelling them, as they're two separate words.dMullins

I think you could argue that it's a case of verbs vs nouns. You could tell someone that you've found another useless thread by trustnoone on QBN and you should 'log in' and abuse the fuck out of him. Alternatively, if you're receiving tech support, you're asked what your 'login' is.
- But the Interwebs are destructificating the Anglish Linguige anyway. Do what you want.BuddhaHat

Separate all of them.
I still write them together sometimes, but I believe it's more proper to put them into two separate words.

I forgot about the hyphen option! is there a set rational that everyone uses for writing these?
