Also how he blocks in shades with one brushstroke creating a perfect harmony between light and shadow. You see this a lot in the old "masters" illustrators works. It is probably one of the hardest things to achieve.

I love this dudes work. Gorgeous. He was doing the drippy stuff before it was 'in'.
Love how he uses such hot, vivid colors for the base, and lets it peek out in choice spots. Pure win.
