Wow, that's a bit of a mindbender. So the bad guys/terrorists are camels, yes? I understand that choice, despite the fact we could start to dissect the strange fourth hand racism that's behind it. But...why bunnies? What's the metaphor? Are the bunnies the Japanese? Americans? British? Who do the bunnies represent and why? Or is it just a Japanese cute thing? If they're Americans, is it a statement about breeding and population growth?
So many questions, so little coffee...- Caveat: Funny as shit though.harlequino

weird... says the original manga takes place in vietnam
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apo…
The manga follows three American soldiers in the Vietnam War named Bota, Perky and Rats. All three are in the recon group called Cat Shit One. Each mission (or chapter) shows the daily activities of the reconnaissance group in Vietnam. There are sections of the manga which give brief history and truths behind the war, such as the types of weapons used by different countries and the activities of forces in the war. At the end of volume one there is a chapter called Dog Shit One — separate from the main story — showing human characters.
* American - Rabbit
* Vietnamese - Cat
* French - Pig
* Chinese - Panda
* Japanese - Monkey and Gorilla
* Russian - Bear
* Korean - Dog
* British - Rat
* Australian - Kangaroo and KoalaThe depiction of Americans as rabbits is actually a pun on the Japanese word for rabbit. The Japanese word for rabbit is "うさぎ," which can be romanized as "USAGI." USA + GI = USAGI.
