I wasn't gonna lie and say I had time like the other 246 people.
Besides, I've not nothing to give other than my money when it comes out. I would hope that's good enough.

just for the record monospaced two things:
despite your REACTION (whoa daddy) I was not giving you shit, just curious as to how you could have missed the discussion of the PO'B foundation that went along with this.
I am far from bitter at my own decision not to submit stuff to this book, as the guys (my friends) who are organising, artworking and publishing the book are well aware, the matter having been discussed with them on more than one occasion. They ,and you, and all the other participants, have my support though and I hope it works out well for you

The following is taken from the "Participant Brief"-PDF, and should hopefully provide some insight into the connection between the book and Patrick O'Brien.
–
This book aims at showcasing a diverse selection of work from members of the online community QBN, representing all styles of outstanding visual media - including graphic design, illustration, photography. More importantly, the book is envisioned to paint a picture of the unique community that QBN is – a community that in spite of vast geographical, biographical, philosophical, and disciplinary differences amongst its members, generally plays an important part, professionally and personally, in the lives of the community members.
It is the goal that the book will inspire creatively through the display of artworks from up-and-coming as well as renowned and established artists, and also inspire humanely through the donation of all proceeds accrued from book sales to the Patrick O’Brien Foundation.
Patrick is a highly valued member of the QBN community, and it all proceeds from sales of this book will be donated to The Patrick O’Brien Foundation in support of Patrick and the completion of his film.
- I read the brief. But where is this discussion of which people speak? I still can't find it.monospaced
- Anyways, I'm gonna purchase at least three copies of the book, regardless of the cost.monospaced
- No idea about a 'discussion' - just trying to answer your question :)
