just click on the blue link in the left column. that takes you to the top-level view of the DB.
Then look in the right side for "Export"
Select all tables in the left side, and make sure you check "structure and data" in the right side.
Then click 'OK'.
That will spit out the SQL code for you.
Copy that to your clipboard, and then open phpmyadmin on the new server.
Click on the 'SQL' tab, and paste that into it.
Click 'Go'

now i get an error on the homepage. should i delete the htaccess file? i read that somewhere on indexhibit forum...
- just rename the htaccess file. Name it back if that doesn't work. Deleting things you don't understand will likely break stuff.moth

bump. any ideas?

You should be able to export it as a file (just leave all the default values checked), save that to your machine, create new db on new host and then import the file. That's normally what I do rather than pasting in the sql code.

The error is probably because of a different username/password/databasename on the new server.. make sure they are setup correctly

What's the error?
