Ive been seeing it a lot and I like the look. There has to be a smarter way then my stupid way.
Set the type in photo shop ---> skew it --> then build the dimensional shapes behind the flat skewed type --> then shade in the shadows with an airbrush.
Anybody have a better way. Any help appreciated, wise ass remarks even more appreciated.

What style have you been seeing that you like?

In Lightwave:
1. import font
2. type your word
3. extrude
4. surface as necessary.
