  but unfortunately it takes forever to load the modules with all that customization and freezes for about five minutes on IE, safari.

  if you spend a bit of time you can do anything you want with myspace pages, just slap a blank div all over the page then start the page build from scratch pulling in all the bits/functionality you need.

  you can also go to bands pages that have cool pages like this and steal their CSS for your own uses then just substitute for your own graphics and text

  WLN, there is simply no better tool on the net for bands to promote themselves and build a groundswell. Even if it looks like shit it still has the social stuff built in and essentially music is myspace's job nowadays.
