oops .. thanks..

i like it. quick loading, engaging, busy, and at a quick skim looks like it might have interesting content too...
one thing, as much as i enjoyed your preloader, i think you could kill the ginger bread man after that, he gets quite annoying pretty quickly following your mouse.

hmmm.. yes i see what u mean.. make the gingerbread man less hyper?
- WeLoveNoise0
love the site but think the rollovers on the thumbs need re-thinking
happens too fast and can barely make it out half the time
- dead0
thanks.. r u referring to the bottom info banner that comes up when u enter the projects section?
it is supposed to come up for 5 sec when u click into a new project, but when u rollover it, the banner should stay for as long as the cursor is over it.
- no the rollover for each individual project :)WeLoveNoise
- yep... got itdead

Nicely done.
So, you're the one responsible for the installations in the underground passes, which I find refreshing. Besides what WeLoveNoise said, maybe you'd like to use pixel fonts for the text in the footer. Currently, it's hardly legible.
Or maybe it's just me. :)

thanks for your kind comments.. we are changing the tunnel soon to an underwater theme.
i have the same problem with the small font.. could be my far-sightedness too.. but yes, will re-look the font...

sik site yo, Iove that rear project glass thingy.. nifty ideas. works looks fanjacket!
- dead0
upped the font.. is everyone REALLY irritating with the moving little guy?
- dead0
*irritated i mean
- dead0
jello.. thanks! :)
the underground glass wall has LED (very sparse) behind them, and you can only create very blurred images with it. But then again it is intentional, because it is so close to the pedestrians, and we don't want the wall to be too intimidating. So soft and furry is good..

quite nice, agree about ginger bread man in skts comments. plus the fonts marent being picked up in the footer (copyright) on the homepage

- Little guy is incredibly pointless, infantile and annoying.
- I'd make the scrollbar for the text section at base more obvious - your audience in QBN will likely understand how to use it - your average net user, probably not so much.
- I wish the thumbnails didn't so thoroughly cover the image I'm trying to look at. If I weren't on my laptop, I don't imagine this'd be an issue.
- Why is the preloader so long? You're not loading all the main images in there, are you?
- Why the difference in fonts on the About Page?
- When I'm in any section other than a main graphic story, the text in the bottom bar goes serif and really tiny?
- dead0
ok... am afraid that website becomes too stale if that little man is static... anyone for having that ginger bread man dancing around?
- dead0
thanks Nairn,
- thanks about the gingerbread man, scroll, and the copyright text at the bottom. font is supposed to be changed on the About page, obviously it didn't.. oops.
- it preloads pretty fast from some of our friends overseas, am not sure how it is so.

Either GO FOR IT, or don't. It's that simple. At the moment, your wee man is a pointlessly underutilised gimmick which adds nothing of value, least of all character or novelty.
If you do keep him - get his scale changing, get him gesticulating more, up his appearances across the site by a few hundred percentage points.
Personally, I think you've been looking at your site for so long, you've become accustomed to all that IS going on and feel a need to overcompensate. Don't. At most, cutefiy the background graphics or something - but don't rely on gimmicks.
