Question for Developer Types

I'm building a form for a photo contest, and it needs to collect information and email to someone as well as upload up to 5 photos to a directory.
I've found plenty of file upload scripts, and I know how to collect the information and email it; I'm just not sure how to do both. Does anyone have any links to anything that may help. I'm definitely not a developer, but I'm pretty comfortable getting things to work. I don't care what technology it's using. I'm pretty free to use whatever I want.
Thanks in advance.

point your form at a script, make sure the form is enctyped correctly..
In that script, copy out the processing bit for the upload, then further down the script, put in the mailing stuff.. php makes this really as simple as it can be to understand.

Are you saying basically just use a typical mail form script and include the file upload as part of the processing that happens in the php file I'm posting to?

have the uploading be part of the form
such as
name:
upload photos:with php write whomever an email pre formatted in html with links to the photos uploaded on submit

Okay, I'm going to give it a try. I'm not too worried about getting it to work. The real issue is going to be trying to get it through our spam filters.
