Alright, I dunno if its just me but in the past year I've broken the springs on 3 mighty mac mouses in probably 1-6 months of using each one. Anyone else have a similar issue you know the mouse's their the white ones that look sleek. What I find happens is the spring sticks on the top right of each mouse that broke so you click and it continues to click a million times uncontrollably. Just curious if this happened to anyone else other than myself.

i've had the track balls in two mighty mice go bad. i just stopped buying them after the second one

maybe it's not the mouse's fault but instead you're a ham-fisted cromag with the dexterity of a borderline schizophrenic chimpanzee. just saying.

the trackball always gets a bit krusty... you just have to flick it once and awhile to loosen the crud then you're good for another 6 months

Mines broke too.
But I'm way too cautious to badmouth Apple on a designforum. My cock were once bitten off after, and it hasn't grown back since.

if the track ball stops working, hold the mouse up in the air and while you scroll the ball with your finger blow on it.
done! works just like new..
its just dirt that sits inside

I go through those pretty quickly myself. The trackball breaks too easily.

Its about time they make a multitouch mighty mouse. Or a usb trackpad

You got fat fingers?

Mines set up for left and right clicking, and those side buttons. The track pad goes every now and again, but turning it upside down on a piece of paper and rolling it round fixes it, kinda pleasurable seeing all the crap come out, then smearing it on your workmates face. I've had mine for 18months

the rollerball thing on mine broke within a week, and I find the right button works sometimes and not at others. I'm surrently plugging a horrible dell pc mouse into my mac just cos I've gotten so frustrated with the mighty mouse

Never had any problem with them breaking however they do seem to run away from me. After the third time leaving mine in an airport I began to just use the track pad.
