all those popular brands are the same.
linksys, dlink, netgear, cisco, belkin... all the same.
I've had all those brands and none stands out in any way if it's just for your place. Dlink does seem to be a good choice based on reliability, price, support, popularity, etc...
Just like with anything someone will have nightmare stories on specific brands/models just like I will never buy a toshiba laptop again coz it broke 7 days after I got it despite friend have rocked their toshibas for years.
- Use Dlink at home and it's now giving tons of problems but it gave me a solid 2.5 yrs of life.VectorMasked

Cheers for the advice you two. I will avoid these ball-blowers of which you speak.

I want to go wireless at home.
It's for a Mac, PC notebook and a PS3.In anyone's opinion, will Airport Express be enough? Do I need Airport Extreme? Is that just a choice between speeds? Is it about the size of my house? Should I ditch being a fanboy and get an alternative brand/setup?
I don't know enough to make my own mind up from reading online... in case that's not already obvious.
Thanks!
