Awesome guitar! - A friend used to have one - ended up putting a block in the tremolo so it would stay in tune.
i've got a 73 tele deluxe and a 02 les paul standard, and a couple cheapo acoustics and classicals.
- My trem has a lock-out. Its stays in tune pretty well, haven't had problems with it yet.JackRyan
- I would like to have that '73...sweet.JackRyan
- jsut re-set it up last year after moving to 11 gauge strings - i can hardly put it down - like butta!bulletfactory

Awesome! I've been scouring pawn shops for something like that for months... how's it sound?

I like the neck inlays, and the finish looks spectacular for a 33 year old instrument...I appreciate the Jag, although being a metal guy it's not pointy enough for me.
- I think it was in the case for most of those 33 years. It has a couple of pick scratches, but thats really it.JackRyan

^^^ Hahahaha...thanks mate!

Very very nice guitar. What style/s do you play?
I recently purchased an Ibanez RG Deluxe... only about the $1000AU mark, but really good for metal/doom. Got an ancient Sunn amp, sounds epic.

Jags have way too many controls, and the trem won't stay in tune.
I love the look of them, and kudos for owning an original 60s one, just like the beach boys might have played.
It's a shame all the crappy indie bands have ruined them style-wise now

I have a strat at my parent's house with a '78 marshall cabinet and stack....not used it for years!
