my bad

alrighty i think i just clicked in.
you mean the statement type sites that were expressing an anti-web trand / theory ideal?
a bit like flight404's site way back and 2 dudes from youworkforthem = onceuponaforest etc?
- airey0
the once upon a forest site was awesome and he said at a flash conf i wnet to that his url was a statement against all the so-called marketing experts that said you had to keep urls down to about 2 character names to succeed.
- airey0
and if that's what you meant then i totally agree. they're were some really inspiring sites then. still are but it all felt a lot more edgy and exciting then. although maybe that's just me rather than the sites and times now.

Paregos, back in the 90ies. This one inspired me to apply, and work there, back then:
http://mosquito.paregos.com/mosq…http://nosepilot.com/ was pretty cool too, back then. The animation is still on his site.

there was one i lost.. that was done without flash. visually was dark.. with a lot of black background with some "click link/prompt to side scroll nav" so to speak, and some (maybe 'cut up') airplane/jet imagery. maybe a bit of red in the nav/interface elements.. it didn't seem very popular. very creative/experimental
the earlier versions of airline industries(.com i think?) was a trippy one
