so am i supposed to copy the stuff im already posting elsewhere? its cool but feels like a rehash of somewhere i've already been too many times..
- kerus0
i dig it in the sense that it just pulls together everything im already doing. like importing twitter/flickr/etc is cool because it's thoughtless and effortless. the move will probably be to make their platform the "one" to use and feed your info back those sites in turn. but whatever, ill jump on board.
thumbs up- facebook + rssconnect
same damn thing except more options for customization.a_iver - http://img9.imagesha…a_iver
- and unlike a lot of facebook rss applications it DOES refresh automatically w/o problems.

post any examples of well designed/ customized profiles... i'd imagine as the skins library start to build there's gonna be some great work out there.
at the moment i've noticed if i set my profile to "artist" or "designer" the skin library is limited to classic.
if you leave your profile to "personal" there's a lot more options, some of the blog skins are decent.

this will be nice:
Domain name as your Virb URL (coming in late February)...

I tried deleting the image, but I guess it survived, haha

ha last post was pretty much 1 year ago to the date. Maybe I'll give it another go.

The social networking fad is on its last legs, don't think there is really a market for a cleaner facebook when no one wants to even be on facebook anymore
- kerus0
finally gonna give this another shot. i have zero time to update my "blog" so i'm gonna give this a whirl as a lifestream sort of jam.

Looks great guys. Very well thought out site.

Here's an idea they could implement, it works in other places: user portfolios!

digging the overhaul!

Krop, Vantageous, Virb and Reinvigorate.net are all part of media temple's investments and acquisitions brands. http://www.mt-ventures.com/
Register for beta at the new Reinvigorate.

Is it possible to post to VIRB and update all other social networks? Do one post and it'll update everything. That would be really a great tool.
- a_iver0
i put a few RSS feeds in hoping like they would pop up in a side box, but they just poured all over my main page and i had to delete them all manually
also i spent about 10 minutes looking for the link to my profile page in the hub

I just read this..
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/0…Is it me or the new ViRB's syle looks familiar, as if it was done by..

hello virb 2. finally!
that had to be the longest overhaul ever, but might actually be good timing with everyone pissed at facebook this week.
i look forward to trying all your new tricks.
- ukit0
I didn't realize they were owned by (media temple)
- horton0
i've been loosely following the virb 2 dev blog and twitter for over a year now, there's been no mention of the mediatemple acquirement (at least that i've noticed) until today.
funny i was thinking just last week how Krop folio looked so very Virb-ish. or is that (mt)-ish. or QB... oh Nevermind.
