Eddie should of stayed retired...every skit blew ass!
- Eddie is the most overrated actor / "comedian"Krassy
- Same with Adam Sandler and Cosby back in the day. Some people are just famous for no reason even if people don't like their work.omahadesigns
- yes! same with Sandler, agreedKrassy
- Should "of"? -1 for lack of basic English.Khurram
- Let's not forget Jim Carrey who's built a career out of making ugly faces.CyBrainX

Cmon Utopian, this was pretty good.
- I'm with Utopian on Eddie. Overrated and ruins skits.Krassy

Dan Akroyd was the best one they ever had.

- good times manhelloeatbreathedrive
- This was probably their second best era, after Akroyd Belushi. It's just too bad we had to endure Sandler in those years.CyBrainX

Why all these SNL specials not available in Uruguay? I thought it was about the U-R-GAY thing, but nah, this seems to be just because. Not cool murica... not cool.

- <in your granddad's Nazi mug>Khurram
- I think the Nazis went to Argentina, and then the US.CyBrainX
- What the actual fuck, Khurram??maquito
- @Cy they must be all dead now, but yeah, there where plenty of nazis who fled to Argentina circa 1950. Specially to Bariloche and the Patagonia.maquito
- My Granddad came from Italy, years before Fascism, just cause his family was hungry. Fuck off, troll..ffsmaquito

i think for me one of the stand-out moments was just a small thing..
Alec Baldwin did an episode ages ago (80's maybe) where he played brando, in a weird 'wild one' inspired sketch...
at the end, there's some kind of catastrophy, and Alec about to take off on his motorcycle with victoria jackson, when suddenly Phil jumps in the way (playing victoria's dad) and screams 'TAKE ME WITH YOU'....that moment was so unexpected, so inspired.
apparently it's Alec's fav moment of all his appearances on SNL.... and with good reason i think.... it was absolutely hilarious...

I loved the sketches called 'The Continental' with Christopher Walken

- I love this one so much. "By the way... it's official..." How can you not laugh out loud at that? :Dmg33
- So damn good. I couldn’t hold it together either. Especially with that horn sound.Ramanisky2

So nice that SNL has put this stuff you YouTube after years of it being on the NBC site.
This is one of my old favorites.

YES!!!! I haven't seen this one in 20 year or more. Wasn't on YouTube, but found it on Vimeo.
When Farley is in the water... "Get me out of this icy hell you pillow biters!!"
