aargh those are awful!!!
to be fair, I reckon I could make a decent enough logo in 2 hours, provided it was a siple brief like this.. and a one-man company that was never gonna go anywhere.. or a student's final project that "might just take off" The problem is, no designer will ever take on these competitions, making a logo for a CHANCE of getting $50.
That's just sad.
but as for a proper business, yeah.. you get what ya pay for, so $50 sure as dammit ain't enough. you need to add a couple of zero's at least

ive had a good look round crowdspring, there's some terrible designs and designers, but there's also quite a few good logos posted.
think your all scared of loosing to a spotty 14 year old with a cracked photoshop
