Someone on here a while ago said they knew they were going to quit a company and they had a stack of 500 or so business cards of theirs that they started to leave all over the office. I think it was a guy who was saying that in a weeks time he had left all 500 all over the office. In drawers, under desks, under books, in books, behind the toilets, put into the paper towel dispensers, thrown all over the warehouse. If that was true that's the way to do it. They'd be remembering you for YEARS.

Say good bye to everyone, nicely.
You might need a recommendation from them years from now.

Yeah, I'm not going to be burning any personal bridges. Though I will say that there is an individual I would like to not only not have a rec from but would prefer to remove all evidence of ever having worked with!

My Father always told me there was no shame in quitting and that I could always quit at any time.

No shame at all

Better to quit with a level head, rather than out of anger...

If you are thinking about quitting you are going to eventually do it, no matter how long you prolong the decision making process.
Do it and stop wasting time.

don't forget to copy some of the work you done. later they don't want to give you files, or they will take time, or there system melts down, etc. (excuses)

Indeed. Let's just say I work at a place where security is pretty serious...
