Hoping to get some feedback from the learned folks on QBN.
At early stage planning for a designer/developer conference (name, location etc tbc, but suffice to say it will be UK based initially).
Planned as a 3-day residential to include keynotes, technical workshops, knowledge-exchange, networking, 'code party' comp and online community.
I'm looking for some input with regard to what kind of content people would like to see at such an event:
a. the kind of technologies/platforms for technical sessions (e.g ruby, silverlight, flash/flex)
b. guest speakers (and topics) for keynotes
any ideas / requests are welcome.

look at what flash on the beach is doing I suppose but open up the scope. its a popular event however named badly as it does cover wider scope than the title suggest which closes it off to some people and stops them even looking.
think its a good idea.. I'd try and avoid conflict with that event too, so your better off either not doing it this year unless you can have it going by July... which is doubtful if in early stages.. maybe even plan it for next year.

yeah, papervision will be in the mix somewhere.
@thatblokemike - yeah, flash on the beach is on the radar, will defo avoid it but not sure by how much! not exactly sure of their format, but i want to create something a smaller, with more of a collective element.
