Book cover, old school, had a maze from above and a white dot in it. Ringing any bells? I can't for the life of me remember who did it.

it was in a kind of murky green with black linework on it if memory serves me.

Oooh ooh ooh, if anyone has a copy of 'Area' lying around? I'm pretty sure i saw it in there, which makes it not old school at all... If anyone can spare 10 mins to scan through that'd be awesome.

The first edition illustration was done by a guy called Dicky Chopping, who was a friend of my grandmother. My mum owns a whole set of first edition hardbacks, with beautifully illustrated sleeves. They're amazing

In fact I believe my mum has some of the original artwork somewhere. Apparently he regretted doing these illustrations because after doing them he was always associated with Bond, despite being a very good artist....
