In work terms, what's the general mood for designers and developers in relation to the credit crunch etc?
A: A lot less than before.
B: About the same
C: A lot more than beforeMe - I seem to be busy but less so than 12 months ago. Am slightly nervous but not yet having a heart attack.

at the moment it's the same, actually have more new business meetings lined up next week than I can ever remember here so... but my company is sort of niche in working with academic publishers so most of their business is based on contracts with universities, research institutes, etc and generally 3 - 5 year contracts, so from what I hear the STM world might manage to escape the crunch, granted the economy picks up again in the next year or 2...
- same here.. academic sector seems a little more recession proofbrandelec

Its hard for me to say. I have always been deathly quiet January to March anyway but have had carry over work to keep me busy (ie its never been a time for me to field calls about new projects). I have some carry over work but not as much so it feels quiet.
What unnerves me slightly is the amount of email addresses that bounce back now when I'm emailing people from my marketing lists. A lot of people have auto-responders saying "I don't work here anymore", particularly in magazine publishing.
