Its too funny, i need to share :
"He just went to the dentist and he's messed uuuup. “I feel funny. I can't see anything. I don't feel tired. Is this real life? ” I don't know, you tell me."

"This is my 7 year old son who had an extra tooth removed last summer, 2008. I had the camera because he was so nervous before I wanted him to see before and after. He was so out of it after, I had to carry him out of the office. The staff was laughing and I had tears it was so funny.
He is doing fine now and the teeth are great."

Wow that kid's a champ! If I was that high at seven years old I would have clawed out some of my veins and arteries, jumped through the car window, and gone on a zombie rampage. (I was pretty full of anxiety and spite as a tot.)
- he nearly did, when he screamed for a bit, I think he was trying to shout the drugs out of himself.chossy
- lol @ shout the drugs outharlequino

aw that's slightly funny, but I felt terrible for the poor guy.
If I worked in that dentist's office I sure wouldn't have let the little guy go home until he was much more straight than that - Just given him a blanket and some nice pillows or beanbag in a warm dark room with some gently music on, not sent him right out into the brighly lit car, which is not comfortable, especially with a seatbelt on, and having to be driven across town, in the daylight.
Poor guy honestly looked like he could unbuckle himself and jump out of the seat at any minute, kid needed to stay inside in a much more controlled soothing environment for a lot longer, and either sleep it off for an hour, or come round some more.. poor little man.

"Is this real life?" the best - you have to show him that in like 10 years

my son had to be drugged when he was quite young - not even 2 - to undergo a procedure to check his heart for a murmur or possibly something more serious. they drug them with a pretty mild sedative just to keep them calm while they scan the heart with what looks like an ultrasound.
he was fine in the procedure, he gave a couple of odd looks, but when he got out he was very obviously drugged. it wasn't really funny, he was drooling, his eyes were rolling all around in his head, and we were trying to feed him but he couldn't get his mouth to work. it was not pleasant and we kept asking if he was ok.
the doctor kept assuring us that he was fine, but he seriously looked like he had some sort of neurological impairment and it freaked me out.
- very scary! sometimes it feels difficult to trust a doctor.sherman
