Surely if the pay day falls on the weekend it goes through before it. Or is he just a massive cunt? Cos thats kind of what he sounds like.

- Aye, expecting more work without being paid for the work you've already done is a good sign your boss is a cunt.ian

Boss forget to pay me over Christmas once. Not amusing. Twat just forgot. I had to max a card. Also happened at my current gaff. I'd just bought a house, first mortgage payment bounced. The bank went bat shit. I was fookin' luvid. Boss coughed up for the charges though. What a tool.

that happened to me a few years back. pay was getting late now and then. Then one day I didn't get paid... went back on an evening and took the equipment on a little holiday...

isnt he obligated to pay you on a certain day? therefore you should probably have moved your DD's so you have a bit of a buffer zone, otherwise isnt he also obligated to pay your late fees?

I've been there forbes, and it blows. Started with a company back in September, they couldn't pay my first paycheck on time. Come October, same problem, "wah wah, financial problems, bad economy, et al." I finally got paid the 15th of October. Come November, "We're closing our doors, wah wah, financial problems, bad economy, qq." Finally got paid on December 1st, and racked up a nice chunk of overdraft fees from automatic debits I have setup for my student loans, etc.
So I was waiting around for my W-2 to arrive finally the other day, and decided that I should probably remind them and send them an email. Knowing these guys, it wouldn't surprise me if they forgot.
Then I get this email back this morning at 3:12am:
"Former XXX employee,
I know that you are probably anxiously awaiting your W2 document from XXX Company such that you can determine your tax refund status for 2008. Please be advised that these documents are prepared as a service of the payroll company we used, Intuit. The way the process is supposed to go, we receive a packet of all the W2s, verify addresses, and place all the individual envelopes back into the mail. The bundle was received late last week, however I checked the summary sheet and many of the annual totals were incorrectly prepared. I have been on the phone with Intuit as well as our bookkeeper consultant over the past few days working on the creation of accurate annual totals. At present, I expect that we'll have the correct and updated totals in the mail to you by mid-week. If you have any questions for me, please feel to reply and I'll address such questions as quickly as possible. I may also be able to email you your totals (upon request) when I have them, if you can't wait for the mail and want to begin preparing your tax return.
The reason the calculation error occurred is because our Q1 employee tax withholdings were manually deposited to the IRS, rather than automatically deducted by Intuit. Your taxes were paid in full - it's only a matter of clearing up this reporting total.
-Signed, Retard #1 from XXX Company"

yeh ive been told he'll pay my late fees but how is that gonna help the fact hes damaged my credit rating yet again?
ive been trying pretty hard to sort my finance out and get my rating back up and the boss goes and fucks it all up for me
- dMullins0
As far as your credit rating, you're fucked. Credit is a racket anyway.
