I only clicked once :S
I liked how you can see the square of the videos (not). This is not the developers fault tho, i think it's flash player video decoder, but there are ways to fix that...

what a nice site, sometimes the preloaders didnt work e.g it would be a zero for ages, then just flash up 100%, shame about the loading times
- Machuse0
loading times were perfect for me. got nothing special intenet-wise
Looks absolutely great, and alot of effort went into interacting with some of those videos.
Wish they had displayed a little bit more information- or allowed for the user to learn more without going extrnal - I would be interessted to so how they would handle that
- poomoo0
That's excellent.
I don't understand how using more Smart Meters takes more cars off the road.
- I think it means an equivalent, but its quite misleading.max_prophet

awesome, but why would anyone want to go to that site?
- gung_hoek0
very, very cool. slick execution.
funny though how the illustrations dominate the appearance to a point that they outshine the actual numbers, the very point of the thing. They kind of went over the top there, costing the message, but benefitting the visual appearance.
also it´s remarkable how consistently good the GE/ecogimation interactive stuff is, esp. for a corporation of their size, this piece is another example.

Fantastic. North Kingdom really has their shit together.

I wonder how much "creative" work north kingdom actually did on this...and how much was done Goodby, Silverstein & Partners?
Same goes with other creative/production houses like b-reel unit 9 ect. is it 50/50?? 80/20??
- way more creative & design on goodby's part than people might thinkwordsinyourmouth

I really like it.
I'm with gung_hoek:

dope, as of yesterday this site wasn't supposed to go live yet
- tkmeister0
yeah, GE Ecomagination campaign has always been great. It seems that GE is really committed to their brand and willing to go extra miles.

Very nice. For once a microsite that doesn't make me want to leave immediately.
- Pupsipu0
fuck their brand, why are they spending all this effort on advertising this bullshit when they're not doing shit about anything important? If they don't have smart people working for them and are looking for some, they should just say so.
- erikjonsson0
they came nocking on my door the other day wanted me to switch from coned
- utopian0
well done!

Let's be honest. This is just a slick TV commercial that you click through.
Just like 90% of the shit on The F W A these days. Interactive informercials.

"I wonder how much "creative" work north kingdom actually did on this...and how much was done Goodby, Silverstein & Partners?"
Also a worthy point. Most of the work is 3d and motion design, probably intended for an actual commercial...I'd be very surprised if North Kingdom had the talent to handle all of that on their own. Most likely they were handed the video assets and just chopped them up and spread across flash files.
Add some buttons and call it a day.
