hi all,
i am developing a website which has a contact form, for some reason, apple sticks all mail from the form in the junk folder, nothing i can do can get it out of there. of course i can teach apple mail to ignore it, but what I want to do is figure out why it is being classed as spam, is there anything i can do?

set up a rule where all mail coming from from the person or with that header or subject is never junk.

yeah, but I wanted to know why it was classing it as spam, the client is also an apple user, of course i can do the same on their machine, but would be better to know why it is classed as spam.

could be the host server settings?
sometimes they are taught/programmed to recognize that email coming from a certain origination point, or perhaps the way the data is formatted may be giving off spam flags?

Make sure your mail is formatted right, using correct mime-type etc. You should also add a valid email address, as the sender, in your script.

We have that very often but then when exchange servers are picking up the mail. Mostly the problem is the from address, if the from address is within the same domain of the exchange server mostly it's being blocked. Try changing the from address to something different and see if that solves it. be sure to change the from address and not the reply address.
