really nice work man

Nice work. Change the name of the demo reel to "Demo Reel 2009" and maybe find a way to display movies in a pop-up or fancy box.

Good stuff man.
Lol @ school of B&N....

Thanks :) I've been a bit lazy about getting this up - glad it's finally done.

Great stuff!
Hopefully the kid from the other thread will pop in and take some notes.

The pop-window kills the entire experience, simply embed the Quicktime clip into a mask behind the jpg screen, CSS should do the trick.

Fixed :-) LIke I said, it's taken me a few months to actually sit down and finish. Thanks!

Eh, I want direct links to the work. Keeping it simple - I hope.

Re: to what CallerNo9 said....
Use QTObject instead of using CSS or a popup for the QT movies. You can specify an image to use for the start and can hide the controls initially.

Yeah I'm using qtobject - just want to have direct link to projects. Also not a fan of loading multiple QT's on one page.

Your work and site is SO good!

i agree that the pop-out movie playing is quite distracting. you can still have direct links to your videos (they gotta live somewhere) but then you could have them play in place of the jpg holder. if you're concerned about multi-QT's on one page you should be able to code in some logic that closes one QT instance and opens another..no?
oterwise, if you're completely sewn to the pop-out player; brand that page a bit. it's just sort of blah and if i'm an internet idiot than i'm confused as to where i am because there's no back button, branding, header or anything else to let me know what just happened.

Gotcha. Good advice.
