Is no one else completely tired of seeing graphic design t-shirts? Especially at work.
In terms of fashion it can sometimes, very rarely sometimes work. Best if layered with a suit jacket or cardigan.
They've become a uniform for the general masses of designers out there.
But the point these designers and other printed t-shirt wearers seem to be completely missing is that a t-shirt isn't a place to showcase your favourite artworks(a tumblr account is fine for that) or a place of funny jokes: a t-shirt is a t-shirt. And fashion is clothing. And clothing can, and should be used as a element of design.
Clothing should be viewed as this: Take human person and using form, shape, colours and textures improve the aesthetics, the design of the human.
In 99% of printed t-shirt wearing cases, they completely fail on the above point and just come across like some odd bod design nerd fanboy with little appreciation and grasp of the bigger picture of design use.
– Also I'm taking this all too seriously.

wearing this right now. Now here's a question for y'all... in terms of ripping an idea, is it ok to re-make something when such an awesome idea has been realised so badly? I'm really tempted to do this one properly. It has such potential

At a German rock festival with a large known neo-Nazi presence, the group distributed free t-shirts that at first appeared to be sympathetic to the neo-Nazi way of life.
But these weren't ordinary vaguely racist shirts - when washed, the original logo faded away and was replaced by a new slogan:
"What happened to your shirt can happen to you. We can help you break with right-wing extremism.
