Well nairn you had best get reading it before the film comes out so you can say 'well the film is ok but the graphic novel is much better, I was into this long before the film came out'...
etc etc

lol ian, you cunt :)
I'm half way through reading it right now and I honestly can't envisage how they could turn it into a decent movie!
It's fucking brilliant so far.

Incidentally, I bought it at the weekend whilst getting dragged around town with my Dad (on a shopping visit) - although I warned him a little before we popped in, he was nonetheless quite horrified by Forbidden Planet - "d'd'did you see that guy? He spent SEVENTY POUNDS on comics!", ha ha ha, poor Calvinist-culture Dad.

when will this be over?

hahaha! I get that every time I go into a comic shop with my gf; 'That bloke spent €200 on a model of the terminator, what the fuck!'
But it means i can spend €20 and I just look reasonable.
Not that I buy many comics, its usually when Im in Brighton and need something to distract me on the flight home.

I still think "Preacher" is one of the best graphic novels of all time (when is HBO coming out with that series?), but "Watchmen" was good. Didn't grab me as much as people said it would, but I imagine the film will be highly entertaining. I think I need all the vulgarity possible in anything I consume, which is why "Preacher" was amazing to me.
