Im installing a photo series in a resto/lounge next week and just wanted to get some ideas of how to display them.
I dont want to do the typical photo mounted with a frame.
I've been thinking of printing them on canvas because they're fairly large but do you guys have any other methods I can use.
Something within a reasonable price because Im printing 12 photos.thnx

canvas is pricey. you could always print them and mount them to foamcore. pretty cheap.

these might help...

i agree with moveinspace, photo prints look good on foam core. have them add (or you do it) small inch blocks of foam on the back, so that when you hang them they will give the impression to be floating off the wall. this gives them a clean contemporary look.

If you're looking for a reasonable price, check prices for different types of paper. Do your best one or two photographs in canvas, it's pricey, but it will look good.

ugh I wouldn't do canvas - keep it all the same.

I would recommend mounting to Dibond and then floating it off the wall with a cleat. Its totally slick and classy. You could also reverse mount on plexi.
Both of those solutions are a bit pricey, but close to the same cost as getting them framed professionally. In addition you can include the cost of mounting in the sale price and exclude that from the galleries cut.
The more economical way is to mount on Gator Board which, while less expensive, tends to look a bit much like tacky a trade show graphics.
The 'artsy' solution is to just use binder clips.
I would avoid canvas and cheap ikea frames at all cost.
