Like coda slider but different

I'm not too well versed in Javascript, so I'm hoping there is a premade solution out there. I need to find something like the coda slider but different.
I need something for the banner/billboard area of site that will rotate div's on a timer but will allow a user to click on a set of numbers to go back and forth through the different div's. I've gotten close with the coda slider but I could never get the timer to stop.
An example would be something like https://www.jpmorganfunds.com/cm… but not in flash.

Looks like Obama is already working for the people. the new whitehouse.gov has the timer and stop function I was looking for on the front page, (it's 15 seconds between each image).
