I actually like 'em.
Classic trainers these days are generally horrifically over-detailed, otherwise you have to stump for some throwback fucking re-do of Dunlop or Fred Perry or some shit.
These are the kind of trainers I wore as a kid - you know, REAL trainers.

And so fuck if he's 'selling out' - every single one of you would do the same, given the opportunity,

I WISH I could sell out. I just need to harnest my talent some how so I can sell out and get all the suckerz money so I can afford expensive juices. Juices and classy ladies.

they look like 15$ factory outlet bargain bin sneaks
- the kind you buy and tell everyone "hey look only 15$!"KwesiJ

his attire and money-making endeavors have no relevance and are his own business. he has no obligations to hold up any particular image you may have previously associated him with. a brilliant mind is a brilliant mind. he makes (or at least made) exceptional music and that's all that should matter.
and yes, the shoe's are fuck-ugly.

Shadow is talented, but those shoes look like something my mother would wear lawn bowling.

You download his record for free and so he sells you some shitty shoes back to you.. what?
- BuddhaHat0
They're not too bad to look at, but... Reebok? Perhaps the other brands didn't think he was worthwhile and they threw enough $$$ at him for him to sell out...
If he actively picked Reebok as a collab then he's a monstrous toss-pot and I hope he doesn't sell a pair.
And I love Shadow's music.

If you want some insight into the history of sneakers and marketing with hiphop and urban culture than this is the doc for you. Sneaks is a big deal and companies really push the street cred. Seems like the same thing thats been going on for years with sneakers and hiphop.

Those are some seriously ugly shoes.
