Having you ipod/itunes sync'd with 2 different computers.
It always asks me if I want to "erase & sync"
There are cracks out there bt did not know the best way to do it

You can authorise up to 5 computers, no?

mine are authorised, like if I import tracks into my itunes from an external harddrive, they play fine on both macs, but the iphone doesn't recognise 2 different i-tunes libraries and I don't seem to be able to unsync and import play lists manually. v annoying.

Do you think this will work if the situation is as follows where you have 2 iphones,
Iphone 1 (mine) synced to my imac (which has a 500gb iTunes library) and Iphone 2 (Girlfriends) synced to her MBP (tiny HD = no music)
Basically the girlfriend wants to load her iphone using my machine to sync her music/movies etc from my library.
I've been told the only way to do this is set up a network using OS X Server to manage users but make them share a single itunes library.... seems a bit excessive though?
Anyone any ideas???
- you don't need OSX serve. just network the 2 together through your routerDancer

Since we are messing with iTunes libraries, is there a good way to have 2 computers share one library on a network drive? You can point to the same iTunes Music folder, but then you have to add everything new manually on the second machine too.
