When you are working on a print project... say a poster. Dont you think it looks like shit at the monitor but when you print it out looks good?

no, usually it is the opposite.

ad you are correct. although it will depend on a variety of factors, such as:
the actualy quality of your work
the quality of your printer
the way you have prepared your work for print
the calibration on your monitor
the calibration on your printer
colourblindness
type of stock
etc etcbut usually, animations dont reproduce as well on A4 paper.
