I have been searching for tutorials about tableless web design for a while now. I haven't found one yet. Any links are greatly appreciated.

There are some out there, but not too much, and they are pretty vague. Eric A Meyer is sick with it when it comes to CSS based layouts:
Zen garden offers example table-less sites and great usage of CSS:

Any lynda book is great. All their books are written in a lament way,
and not straight up robot programmer talk (majority of books out there haha)Another suggestion would be to get a membership at:
SOOO worth it and you can learn other apps, coding... pretty much anything you want. Have fun and good luck.

I started by using the templates at http://blog.html.it/layoutgala/. Then I started to learn a bit more and discovered that they are not written that well. But... it was a good start.

I just let Frontpage take care of the code side of things, and basically work on WYSIWYG mode.

Look at the source code on someone else's site that uses DIVs, pull everything down (html, css, a few images if you like) and start investigating.
