I watched Everything Everywhere All At Once Saturday Night. It was shot and edited great. Very visually appealing but he story was just weird for the sense of being weird.

    • Agreed. Surely there were better moviesMondoMorphic
    • I didn’t find the story weird at all. I found it very relatable as it was simply about common relationships and the the fragility of the lives we build.monospaced
    • It’s a huge metaphormonospaced
    • I thought it was awful, a mess of a film that thinks it's smarter than it actually is, like Glass Onion 2Gardener
    • I love the story. It's actually very simple. And weirdly very relatable.pango
    • true.. pretty simple story....movie is around ok.. not too much of a brainblow when it comes to down to it..neverscared
    • I knew it was the best film of the year the second I saw it. Nothing like glass onion. Lolmonospaced
    • its like a spielberg movie.... solid but nuffin moreneverscared
    • Fuck Glass Onioncrazyprick
    • better not downplay glass onion as a movie .. it also had a nominee for best adapted screenplay.. that alone make a fine movie ...neverscared
    • james jean´s movieposter for it def. deserves an oscar or 2...neverscared
    • Fuck Glass Onion's nomination in particularcrazyprick
    • Glass Onion is cack. The Oscar lot just have to tickle Netflix's balls from time to time.MrT

I don't normally watch but the bf wanted to catch part of it. Swear I heard the guy who accepted for Best Picture say "no person is more important than profit".

    • I caught that too, but he meant the opposite. it was a spoonerism. like - 'work is the curse of the drinking class' -hotroddy
